HOSOKAI -Shoichi Hosokai started his koi business around 35 years ago, just outside Ojiya. High quality Showa, Goshiki, Asagi can be found, over this time he has been credited with improving the varieties of Asagi and Goshiki to the high standards that can be seen today. His Asagi have won many prizes at The All Japan Koi Shows. Now with his son Masaru they are developing and doing more varieties including Kohaku, Sanke, Showa and Ochiba to name a few. In the last 3 years they have produced a new variety called Goshiki Shigure. Their koi are again very popular not only in Japan but by people from around the world.
